下山 天 TEN SHIMOYAMA
1966年青森県に生まれる。
高校時代から自主映画を撮り始め、在学中に上京。
映画・TV・CFの監督助手や撮影助手を経て、ミュージックビデオの世界へ。
89年 久保田利伸「Be Wanabee」で監督デビュー。
以来、桑田佳祐、B'z、EXILE、Do As Infinity、他多数監督。
92年 CX「世にも奇妙な物語」でTVドラマ初演出。
94年 桑田佳祐ライブ&ドキュメント「すべての歌に懺悔しな!!」発表。
ライブビテオを超えたヒューマンドキュメントとして高い評価を得る。
97年 パリコレクションに密着したセミドキュメント映画「CUTE」で劇映画デビュー。
98年 映画第2作目「イノセントワールド」を発表。
以降、ジャンルを超えて、企画・脚本・撮影・編集・監督すべてに取り組んでいる。
Born in 1966 in Aomori.
Shimoyama is a visual artist who continues to make music video clips for major artists such as B'z and The Southern All Stars.
He became interested in Visual arts in his yorth, and began making short films in high school.
After working as assistant directer in films and television,he entered the world of music video.
His video of Kuwata Keisuke's live concert was praised as a first-class documentary.
After expanding his sphere toTV and commercials, he made his debut in 1997 as a feature film directer with“CUTE”,a semi documentary about a young woman trying to become a fashion model in paris.
Fuji televion presents“INNOCENT WORLD”is Shimoyama's second theatrical release.
